GameSamba Announces Eighteen in North America
GameSamba to publish Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s “Eighteen” in North America
EVERETT, WA – GameSamba has announced today that it will be publishing Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s latest
puzzle game, “Eighteen”, in North America. Developed by mobcast, Eighteen (known as “18 – kimi to tsunagaru
puzzle” in Japan) is an RPG puzzle game, available for Android and iOS devices.
“We’re very excited to be working with Mobcast to bring Eighteen to the American market,” said Scott Wong,
President of GameSamba. “A lot of us have been big fans of Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s previous games like Rez
and Lumines, so it’s a thrill to work with him and the rest of Mobcast on their latest project.”
The game takes place in a mysterious dreamscape, after a new disease known as “sleeping beauty syndrome”
has trapped people from our modern world in this living dream. Players can journey through many challenging
levels, recruit from hundreds of characters, and upgrade their dream divers as they attempt to defeat Witches,
free Goddesses, and save the day.
Eighteen will be available on Android and iOS devices in North America, in Q2 of this year. The game will be
playable for the first time in the U.S. at this year’s SXSW Gaming Expo, in the GameSamba booth. More
details about the game, its characters, and information on preview livestreams will be revealed in the near
future.
Players can like the official Facebook page, or follow GameSamba’s official Eighteen Twitter, for more
information as it becomes available.
